Via Colori 2015
Every year in historic Fredericksburg, Virginia a street art festival is held for two days. This event has been taking place since 2010. I missed the first year, but the last five years have been a joy for me!
I created this painting during last weekend of May this year. Original painting is by Pompeo Batoni titled The Sacred Family and currently located in Capitoline Museums, Rome. I was reproducing a smaller part of the original. Very happy with my results! It was very hot two days and a lot of work! The temperate was over 90F both days...
This is my biggest by size chalk painting. Overall size of the square is 10x10 feet. I created it during Via Colori weekend in September 2014, based on my original painting titled Via Colibri.
